What does my subscription include?
Access to our personal alarm monitoring service, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. When you raise an alarm, the team can contact family or the emergency services depending on the situation.
How much does it cost?
The watch and pendant are each £69.99. Add monitoring at £19 a month or £199 a year paid in one payment. The device plus your first month totals £88.99, or £268.99 with the yearly plan.
What is the difference between the watch and pendant?
The watch is worn on your wrist, while the pendant is worn around your neck. Both let you raise an alarm using a button, with access to the same monitoring service through your subscription.
Will I need to programme my watch or pendant?
No. Your watch or pendant arrives ready to use out of the box. We programme it for you before dispatch. Simply follow your welcome pack to charge your device and make your first test call.
Can I choose an alarm for a family member?
Yes. You can explore both styles and plans for someone you care about. Involve them in the choice so they can select the device they feel comfortable wearing.
Is the annual plan paid monthly?
No. The yearly subscription is £199 paid in one payment for 12 months of monitoring. The £16.58 monthly equivalent is shown for comparison only.
How do cancellation and renewal work?
Monthly monitoring has a one-month minimum term and requires one calendar month’s notice to cancel. The annual plan automatically renews unless you give one calendar month’s notice before renewal. If annual monitoring ends early, full unused months after the effective cancellation date are refundable, including following bereavement or a move into care. Statutory cancellation rights are separate. Read the subscription terms.
Are SIM and data included?
Yes. Your monitoring subscription includes SIM connectivity with a fair-usage allowance of 60 minutes and 250 MB of mobile data per month, per device. The allowance resets monthly. If you exceed it, we will notify you. Read connectivity terms.
Is the watch only for older people?
No. The Kind Assist Watch is also for other adults looking for a way to ask for help, including people living alone, lone workers and outdoor workers. Workplace and organisational use needs a suitability assessment. Explore who it’s for.
What is included with my device?
Your watch or pendant, programmed by us and ready to use out of the box, plus a welcome pack and charging cable. Delivery is usually within seven days, and the device has a one-year warranty handled in-house. UK delivery is free.
Does an alarm guarantee an emergency response?
No alarm can guarantee help in every situation. Keep your device charged and follow its instructions. Response depends on a successful alarm connection and the circumstances. If you can call directly in an immediate emergency, dial 999.
